"Christian, what are you doing here—drunk?" I couldn't help the shock and disappointment in my voice.
He, however, did not reply; instead, he pushed himself inside, so close to me, and locked the door. For once, his gaze did not leave mine.
‘Christian, what are you—ah!” I groaned as he grabbed my arm and dragged me upstairs. “Christian!” I hissed at him slowly, not wanting to wake my children and let them witness their father's drunken state.
He didn't seem to care about my struggles, though. He took me upstairs, shoved me into that same guest room where we last fought, and shut the door.
His icy blue stare burned into me, so intensely I couldn't figure it out.
"What's wrong with you, Christian?" I snapped. “You're so wasted!”
"What is wrong with me?" He chuckled, sounding angry for some reason.
Christian approached toward me, his intense blue stare fixed on me, as if I were responsible for his troubles. I wonder what is troubling him?
