"How the hell would I know?" Curtis retorted as he held Marceline's hand.
Her forehead was still visibly sweating.
James knew Curtis was anxious, so he first took her temperature—she wasn't running a fever.
He then said, "Bring me a bowl of sugar water. She's experiencing low blood sugar."
Immediately, Curtis told a household staff to bring some sugar water.
Meanwhile, James continued the examination.
Suddenly, he heard Marceline quietly sobbing, saying that it hurt down there.
Upon hearing that, he turned to look at Curtis.
Curtis was uncharacteristically uneasy. He scratched his head and said, "I couldn't hold back."
James didn't say anything. Instead, he lifted the blanket and was about to examine Marceline when Curtis grabbed his wrist. "Where are you checking?"
James frowned, and after a moment's thought, he took out an ointment.
"Apply this three times a day. Check if there's any serious tearing. If it's only minor, it should heal quickly. Her health has always been p
