Seizing control of the Neutral Hospital had been a tactical masterstroke.
For years, this place had been a breeding ground for weakness, idealists who thought neutrality could save them from the chaos of war. But war didn't work like that. You were either a predator or prey. And now, these so-called doctors had no choice but to serve me.
Some of them even possessed healing magic, a rare gift that could make warriors nearly indestructible.
No wonder Aisha had always wanted to come here.
She had this naive dream that she could change the world one day after the other if she could be here. I knew she would be stubborn to come here even after escaping.
Just thinking about her made my blood burn.
