Hazel said, "I'm surprised myself." After the initial shock wore off, she quickly got back to business. She grabbed her trusty assistant, Abigail, and began delegating tasks for the next day's plans. Back at the station, Shawn had prepared in advance. He'd spent most of the pre-holiday period on duty, to save his leave for after the new year. Then, he approached Ryan for extended time off. "I'm getting married. I can't let Hazel handle all the wedding planning alone." As a man, Shawn had to pull his weight too. Ryan sighed with envy. "Hazel is amazing.
