"Camilla, there's no need for you to be loud," Lewis told me, looking around. I wasn't even that loud, or was I? "People are here, watching. You don't want them to know about our family issues," he added.
"What? Am I that loud?" I asked him. Cause I didn't think I was.
"If only you could hear yourself right now," my father said, a little bit low.
I glared at him before turning back to Lewis. "Now you're going to let him feel like the good guy here."
"He came to apologize." Lewis shrugged.
"He thinks sorry's going to change anything?" I set my eyes back on my father. This expression on my face wasn't friendly at all.
"How do you expect him to apologize then?" Lewis asked me.
"I don't know. He should probably do something. Win Mom's heart back. Something like that."
"And why do you think he has come here?"
"To talk shit, I guess," I told Lewis.
"Camilla, I came to apologize," my father said. "I feel guilty for what I did. My heart is filled with regret right now."
