Cecelia followed Yves back to the hall. Immediately, she spotted Shaun amidst the crowd. It had been a few months since she last saw him. Shaun had lost a lot of weight, yet the look in his eyes was just as shrewd as ever. As if sensing her gaze, Shaun turned suddenly. His gaze landed squarely on her. Time seemed to stop. Shaun looked shocked, as if he couldn't believe what he was seeing. It was only until Yves and Cecelia walked right up to him that Shaun finally accepted that it was indeed Cecelia who was standing right before him.
