George Harrison and I were both visibly stunned.
Paul Allen, on the other hand, looked like nothing could faze him.
“Remarry? Have you lost your mind?” I stared at Ronald Wright, couldn't help but shoot back, “Don’t wanna give it up just say so, why play all these games? George, let’s go.”
After finally getting out of that pit, you'd have to be crazy to jump back in for a second round.
Ronald wasn’t serious, that much was clear. He was just trying to mess with me. That’s how he always was—getting married and divorced like it was no big deal.
If I hadn’t known about Grace Mills, maybe I’d still see him as a laid-back guy. But I’d been to their extravagant engagement party in my past life—the media storm, the public display—he practically broadcasted their “happily ever after” to the world.
If he really meant it, he wouldn’t throw around words like “remarry” so casually. At the very least, he’d put some effort in. Right now, though? He was just picking a fight.
