After losing the baby, Reina fell into depression for weeks. But before long, she picked herself back up and started trying to win Xavier back all over again. This time, though, she tried a different approach. She no longer tried to force Xavier to do anything. Instead, she quietly showed up wherever he went and gave him expensive gifts and high-end supplements. Even though Xavier turned them down every time, she still kept sending them. One day, while Xavier was out shopping, he unexpectedly spotted Hugo running a coffee stand right outside the entrance. After four years apart, Hugo looked worn and haggard, like he had aged a decade. A four-inch scar stretched from his cheek to the corner of his mouth, giving him a haunting appearance. The moment he spotted Xavier, his eyes were filled with hatred. He grabbed a cup of steaming coffee and hurled it in Xavier's direction. "You're the reason I lost my dignity as a man! I can't have kids anymore, and it's all your fault! Go to hell!
