CHAPTER THIRTY-ONE
[Noah’s POV.]
The sound of Noah’s shoes clicking against the marble floor echoed down the hallway. Each step he took mirrored the aggravation he was feeling. Isaac followed closely behind, matching his energy and stride as they approached the pack conference.
Although Greyhound was built like a pack, Noah along with his elders thought it would be best to omit the pack house, and instead, make a building dedicated to pack-associated meetings and activities.
Striding towards the conference room, Noah did not attempt to control the waves of annoyance he was eluding. He had called for the meeting to make an official announcement to the elders that he had found his mate—just the thought of her made his heart ache— but the rising matter of rogues infiltrating the pack weighed heavily in his mind.
