Ursula pulled a pen from her bag and handed it over with a grumble. "Here. I'm basically Edmond's assistant now, and he's so lazy he makes me carry everything."
Rosalie jotted a few addresses on the last page and glanced up. "So, you two made up?"
Ursula let out a long sigh and leaned against the balcony rail. "I wouldn't call it making up. I need a job at a law firm, and he needs an assistant. We cut a deal. If I stick it out for a year, he'll take me to see my adoptive parents."
