“Y–You’re not a mad dog?” I asked hesitantly. “Then… where’s the wild dog?”
I glanced at the boy standing in front of me. He was a little taller than I was, and I couldn’t help feeling wary.
Mama had always told me never to let my guard down—especially in dangerous situations, and especially around people I didn’t know. Unless Mama or Papa were with me, I was supposed to stay alert at all times.
But since I'm alone, mama and papa were not here and I'm being locked with this stranger despite that he was the same as me who was just a child, just that he's taller than me, I can't let my guard down easily.
