Chapter 22

　　Lillian's heart skipped a beat. A bad thought came to her, and her face turned dark. 　　"What did they talk about?" 　　Lillian's unusual reaction made Esteban hesitate. He answered carefully, "They discussed the Druonian branch. Your father said it was your decision and couldn't be changed unless Luke could change your mind." 　　Stela understood now, showing surprise on her face. 　　"So, Luke knew Lillian's identity all along..." 　　Stela's voice faded. She glanced at Lillian, seeing her cold, dark expression. 　　Lillian realized why Luke always helped her. He was strict with the team but supported her even when they barely knew each other. She understood why the things she posted on Twitter were not suppressed. 　　Everything mysterious made sense now. 　　Luke was the one who had been manipulating events, letting her struggle, and then acting as her savior all along. 　　Lillian took a deep breath, feeling dizzy. 　　Esteban asked nervously, "Did I say something wrong?" 　　Lillian shook her head.
