CHAPTER 81 THE AIRPORT
Michael leaned over, his voice gentle. "Once we get to Ethiopia, we can start working on getting you set up with a new identity, a new life. It's not going to be easy, but we'll do it together."
Madison nodded, but her thoughts were still plagued by the image of the old woman. She couldn't shake the feeling that she had seen her in more than just a dream.
As the plane touched down at the airport in Addis Ababa, Michael and Madison made their way towards the exit, their steps quick and determined. They were met by a man in a suit, who introduced himself as their driver.
"Good morning," he said, his voice smooth and reassuring. "I'm here to take you to your new accommodations."
He led them towards a sleek, black SUV, but instead of heading towards the city, he turned the vehicle in the opposite direction, towards the outskirts of the city.
Madison glanced at Michael, her brow furrowing.
