Chapter 2518
Three years ago in Seastone, Hector encountered a car crash on his way to the airport.
With a loud bang, the car jolted violently from the sudden impact and came to an abrupt halt.
In the back seat, Hector's phone flew out of his hand, but he quickly steadied himself.
"M-Mr. Hector…" Still shaken, Mark pointed toward the front of the car where a girl had collapsed.
Hector frowned. "Did we hit someone?"
Mark quickly clarified. "No, we didn't. It was the car on the other side, and the girl was thrown in our direction."
Essentially, there was a secondary impact. Judging by the speed and angle of the collision, the girl's chance of survival seemed very low.
Still, Hector got out of the car immediately, told Mark to call an ambulance, and had Joey contact a lawyer to deal with the scene.
Just as he was about to hand everything over and leave, his gaze unexpectedly met the half-open eyes of the girl lying on the ground.
