If it weren't for the fact that Lily had to meet Marika the next day, Xavier might've kept going until morning.
Lily only slept two hours. She applied some light makeup to barely cover up how terrible she looked.
Luckily, it was cold weather now. Thus, she could wear a turtleneck sweater to cover the hickeys on her neck. But her legs, still sore and trembling, just wouldn't return to normal.
Yet, Xavier—who hadn't slept either and had been even more vigorous than she was—looked completely refreshed and full of energy.
"I'll go with you later. I'll drive," Xavier said. He mainly didn't want to risk delaying her matters. After all, she might not be this cooperative again next time.
He said this at the breakfast table, and Anthony was there too.
"It's snowing outside and the roads aren't great. Just let Xavier take you."
"Okay," Lily said, not refusing.
A short while later, the two of them finished eating and got changed. Then, they left the house.
