Chapter 275 Special Care
Leona's POV
"This strawberry mousse—I just made it, but sir said he didn't feel like eating it, so I brought it over," May explained, handing me a fork as well.
I loved desserts, especially delicate mousses like this.
I took the plate and scooped a small bite.
The tang of strawberry and the rich creaminess melted on my tongue, making me squint with pleasure.
"It's so good! Thank you, May!"
Seeing my expression, May looked very happy.
In the evening, when I finished the day's work and went back to my room, I found a neatly folded blanket on the bed.
I walked over and touched it. It felt exceptionally soft and thick, a fine cashmere.
One glance told me it wasn't cheap. Both the material and the weave were impeccable.
"What's this?"
"Sandy," came Marcus's voice from the doorway, "Sir instructed me to bring it. He said the weather had been cooling because the sea breeze is strong at night, and he's worried everyone might catch a cold. All the maids have one."
"I see."
