On the other end of the line, Mary's voice held a sharp edge of surprise. "Perseus? You're here?" She quickly regained her composure. "You managed to slip past our surveillance?" Perseus chuckled. "What, you don't believe me? Do you need me to prove it to you?" Mary scoffed. "And how exactly do you plan to do that?" His smile was light, almost playful. "Listen closely." Bending down, he picked up an automatic rifle from the floor, reloaded it with a crisp snap, and without hesitation, aimed the barrel at the lower half of Alfred's body. "Mr. Caitford, please don't do it!" The gunshot rang through the air. Alfred collapsed, his legs giving out as he clutched his head, groaning in agony. But Perseus wasn't done. He turned the gun on the kneeling Ebrean soldiers, his finger pulling the trigger with merciless precision. One by one, bodies hit the ground. Within seconds, every single one of the 30 security guards lay lifeless in pools of blood except for Alfred. On the other en
