Isaac looked up after hearing the sound of the door opening. He raised his eyebrow a little when he saw Kylie, but he didn't seem surprised at all. Kylie stepped inside the room, closed the door, and asked, "Is Rachel not here yet?" Right after she asked, Isaac's phone started ringing. He took out his phone and answered the call. "Hello, Grandma?" It was unclear what Rachel was saying on the other end of the phone. But after a brief pause, Isaac just replied, "Got it." With that, he hung up the call. He put away his phone and looked up at Kylie with a slight curl at his lips. "Grandma said that something came up for her, so she won't be coming." A flicker of helplessness flashed through Kylie's eyes. She realized that Rachel's intention wasn't to meet her for lunch, but to set her up with Isaac.
