Chapter 194
OLIVIA
Hannah and I stayed in San Francisco over the weekend to celebrate Margareth’s birthday that Saturday.
Last year, Margareth suffered from high blood pressure and fainted, which led to her being hospitalized—a frightening experience for all of us. Since then, her doctor had been very clear that she needed to pay close attention to her diet every single day.
Because of that, Liam arranged for a private chef to prepare her meals, especially lunch, since he was often at work and could not personally monitor her condition throughout the day.
The chef came to their house daily, carefully preparing dishes that followed her dietary restrictions while still making sure the food was enjoyable.
Over the past three years, Liam’s projects had been consistently successful, which led him to take on even larger responsibilities within his field.
Margareth had always been proud of him.
The only thing that seemed to trouble her was hearing that he had recently broken up with his girlfriend.
