Teresa's gaze drifted downward. On Cecilia's wrist gleamed a pale emerald bangle. It looked expensive.
Cameron hadn't spared Teresa a glance since stepping into the house. Instead, he turned to Leah. "Make some nourishing stew this afternoon. Cece had a tiring night and needs to regain her strength."
Leah paled but nodded obediently. "Yes, Mr. Langdon."
