"Lissie!" Jasper shouted. He searched the entire villa, but Lisette was nowhere to be seen. Even her suitcases were gone. A scary thought occurred to him—Lisette really had left. That was impossible! Jasper frantically cast that thought aside and drove to the hospital. Lisette loved him dearly, and her mother was still here too. How could she bear to leave them? But when he arrived at the hospital, he realized someone else was staying in Fiona's room. Fiona's doctor informed him that she'd already passed away two months ago. "Back then, Ms. Jones came with 2.5 million dollars in hand and begged us to carry out her mother's surgery. But you ordered us not to save her, so we didn't dare to proceed.
