CHAPTER SEVENTY EIGHT – BRIDEZILLA
The next morning found Rebecca at the florist's shop, trying to salvage the centerpiece situation.
"I understand the inconvenience, Mrs. Bianchi," Rebecca pleaded with the harried florist. "But surely there must be something we can do?"
Mrs. Bianchi threw her hands up in exasperation. "Miss Harrison, we've been working on these arrangements for weeks. To start over now, with the wedding just days away? It's impossible!"
"What if we just made some small adjustments?" Rebecca suggested desperately. "Perhaps we could incorporate some new elements without completely redoing everything?"
As they debated possibilities, the bell above the shop door jingled. Rebecca turned to see Zaya, her friend from the café, enter with a concerned look.
"Rebecca? Is everything okay? You missed our lunch plans, and you're not answering your phone."
Rebecca's eyes widened in horror. "Oh, Zaya, I'm so sorry! I completely lost track of time. Things have been so chaotic with the wedding preparations."
