Screams echoed through the floor, one after another, as the girls in the room anxiously shook the iron bars in front of them.
“Let us out! What are you doing? Why was there an explosion?”
The village chief struggled to steady himself on the trembling floor. Nearby, Tina raised an eyebrow and looked at him.
“Was this your doing?!” the chief accused, his finger trembling as he pointed at Tina, his cloudy eyes now wide with rage.
Tina chuckled softly. “I told you long ago—you’re no match for me.”
Villagers began rushing in, their faces pale with terror. Those who had survived the bombing outside stumbled and fell before the chief.
“Chief, it’s terrible! Someone’s throwing bombs at us from outside the village!”
Irritated, the chief shoved one of them to the ground. “Do I look deaf to you, fool?!”
The entire village was in chaos after the explosion. People abandoned their tasks and sprinted home, panic spreading like wildfire.
