KAREN'S POV I slowly opened my eyes, my head pounding and my vision blurry. I tried to move my arms, but they wouldn't budge. Panic set in as I realized I was tied up, my hands bound tightly behind my back. I looked around and saw that I was in the middle of a dense forest. The sun was just beginning to rise, casting an eerie light through the trees. I could feel the cool morning air on my skin, the ground beneath me was damp and covered in leaves.
