Desmond stood in front of Isabella, fists clenched tight, veins bulging on his forehead. He looked like he was barely holding himself back from snapping.
Isabella blinked, stunned, then said quietly, "Desmond, just let me go."
Desmond's eyes narrowed. "Keep dreaming."
"We're divorced, you have no right to control me anymore!" Isabella snapped.
"No right?" Desmond scoffed, his lips curling coldly as he leaned in closer.
His imposing presence made Isabella instinctively step back, her body tense under the weight of his intimidating aura.
But then Desmond lunged forward, grabbing hold of her and pinning her under him as his lips crashed down on hers.
He kissed her like he owned her—rough, demanding, unrelenting.
Isabella didn't stand a chance against him.
Soon, his lips trailed down as his fingers popped open the buttons of her shirt. But just then, her soft, choked sob snapped him out of it.
"Desmond, please... stop. I don't feel good."
That line—it wasn't the first time she'd said that
