The man pushed through the kitchen doors. Charlotte held her breath, counting the seconds. One... two... three...
Suddenly, there was a commotion from the kitchen. Tony's voice boomed out, "Oi! What do you think you're doing?"
The pub fell silent as Tony emerged, dragging the struggling man by the collar. In the man's hand was a small vial of clear liquid.
"Look what I caught this one trying to pour into our soup," Tony announced, holding up the vial.
The crowd gasped. Charlotte stepped forward, her voice ringing out clear and strong. "This man works for The Golden Mug. They've been sabotaging us for weeks, and now they've escalated to putting unknown substances in our food."
The man's face paled. "I... I don't know what you're talking about. This is just... medication. For my stomach."
"Oh really?" Linda piped up. "Then you won't mind if we have it tested, will you?"
