A crow fluttered down curiously, landing on top of the wrecked car. It hopped around a bit, craning its head as it studied the giant hunk of metal that clearly didn't belong in the forest.
Suddenly, a trembling blackened hand reached out from the shattered window, then a second one followed.
Startled, the crow squawked loudly before flapping its wings and flying off in a panic—leaving a souvenir behind.
"Damn it! Even a bird's bullying me?! You better hope I don't catch you!"
The figure barely poked her head out when something warm and sticky hit her forehead. She wiped it off irritably, then stared at the white blob on her palm. Her brows scrunched into a deep frown as she cursed at the vanishing bird. Not that the crow cared—it flapped harder and disappeared fast, way too smart to stick around.
