Chapter 76

My wolf is acting like some lost puppy dog and is begging for us to go back to the Master and I cannot take any more of this. “Augh!!!” this is just way too much and I so need a drink now more than ever. Getting up I walked over to the little bar to pour a drink of the finest whiskey I had in stock into my glass. With shaky hand I downed the glass full in one shot. That sharp taste of whiskey was helping to clear my mind while it did its magic in spreading warmth throughout my body. Knowing I needed a distraction; I poured another one and with a big thump sat in my favorite chair. Sitting emotionless I drank the whiskey slowly and concentrated on watching the dancing flames as they warm this space. Right now I need to just focus on the fireplace and will sort through the event of today. For it all can wait a little longer with the exception of Jennifer, she has to be protected and we have to talk soon.
