Jade's pov The days ran slowly after that. My injuries were already healed and I felt so much better. CJ hadn't come to the house since after the funeral and the doctor had gone back to his place. Saint's guys at the house were fewer than they usually were and he came home every late night and most times before I woke up.  I didn't see Alessandro or the old man after the funeral either and the house just felt lonely, silent and empty with just me inside.  I thought of every way to get closer to Saint and even texted him on a few occasions asking when he would be home but he never responded to any of them and soon enough, I found myself lying on the couch in the living room upstairs, waiting for him to come back home every night.  I couldn't lie also, I missed him like hell. I missed him so much that I thought I would go crazy.  I was lying down as usual stopping the sleep that was coming with a lot of force when I heard cars drive in. I knew instantly he was the one and waited eagerly
