But Sienna, on the other hand, found herself momentarily at a loss when faced with Grape’s clear, innocent eyes. She didn’t know how to handle the moment.

Taking small steps forward, Grape hesitated before speaking. “Hello, Grandpa.”
“Hello, and hello to you too,” Ahmad replied. He had only heard Sienna’s descriptions before, but now, seeing her in person, he was thoroughly pleased. “She’s so similar—just like you were as a child.”
Callie’s lips twitched slightly.
Grape tilted her head. “But everyone says I look like Dad.”
