Chapter 143: Condolences
Callie stopped Bianca, "There's no rush. I want some hot water. Could you boil a pot for me?"
Bianca seemed to understand partially, "Alright, wait here."
While waiting for the water to boil, the two stood in the kitchen, exchanging awkward glances. Seeing Callie sweating profusely, Bianca quickly said, "The kitchen is too hot. Go wait outside."
"It's fine, really. I haven't seen you in a long time and want to chat," Callie waved her hand. "How's Grandpa's health recently?"
"He's doing well, don't worry."
"That's good... that's good..."
When the water was hot, Bianca swiftly poured a cup. "Drink it slowly. I still need to go out and buy ingredients. Wait here, Bianca promises you'll have a good meal tonight."
Callie was at a loss and frantically gestured to Nelson in the living room for help.
Nelson walked over leisurely and blocked the kitchen door. "It's scorching outside. You can go tomorrow. Don't be biased; I haven't had your ginger milk in ages. Can I have some today?"
