The phone rang once, then twice, before I picked it up with trembling fingers. “Haley,” Sebastian’s voice came through, frantic and strained. “Jordan and Joey... they’re gone. Someone took them.” My heart dropped. “What?” I whispered, almost choking on the word. “They’re gone,” he repeated. “I—I don’t know what to do. Please.
