Harvey stared at Lily and Matthias with a frown as they left. He turned and icily asked Loid, "What's going on?" His voice dragged Loid back to reality. Weakly, Loid replied, "Do you trust me, Mr. Brooks?" Harvey glanced at him and expressionlessly stated, "That doesn't matter. What matters is if Lily trusts you or not." Loid pursed his lips without saying anything. "You must have witnessed all sorts of schemes to get to where you are now, but you ended up meeting your downfall at the hands of someone who wasn't even armed. I'm not underestimating you. You're just too weak." Harvey never expected Loid to be so powerless that Matthias defeated him in one go. It was simply humiliating. Loid suddenly looked up. With a face full of shock, he asked, "So, you can tell that Matthias harbors bad intentions toward Lily, too?" That was a relief. At least Harvey hadn't been fooled by Matthias.
