Chapter 1916
When Sabrina first heard about it, she couldn't help but find it amusing. Wilfred was the first to openly say that Samuel had a mental illness.
While it was true, he shouldn't have mentioned it in front of Samuel. Samuel had always been sensitive about that. So, no one ever dared bring up his past dissociative identity disorder in his presence.
"Dr. Mitchell, what were you actually thinking about?"
After finishing her lecture, Sabrina made a special trip to Wilfred's house to check in on him.
She brought a fruit basket and a bouquet of lilies as a gift.
Wilfred glanced at the fruit and lilies and said flatly, "Thanks, Ms. Palmer. You're the first person to come here and mock me."
"I'm not mocking you. I'm being serious," Sabrina said earnestly. "Samuel's like that—he cares about his pride. Don't take it personally."
"I do take it personally! I care a lot!" Wilfred retorted. "I'm a well-known figure in the medical field. An apology like this will have everyone laughing at me."
