Blair accepted the explanation and didn't dwell on it. She soon followed Alexander inside. "This is just a small token from the restaurant," Adam said. As soon as Blair sat down, Adam handed her a blue velvet jewelry box. She hesitated, caught off guard. Adam urged her to open it and take a look. Inside rested a classic Velouria necklace.
