Alexander had a laptop on his lap, the glow from the screen highlighting his defined, striking features as his fingers drummed quietly.
He wore a tan shirt and gray pants, his expensive tie neatly knotted. The metal cufflinks on his sleeves glinted subtly with every move he made.
Blair thought he had a pretty good taste.
Then, Alexander muttered, "Are you done looking?"
Now that she was caught red-handed, she blushed and quickly looked away.
As the car started moving, he closed his laptop and playfully smirked. "I haven't seen you in two years, and you're acting like a stranger."
Keeping a cautious distance, Blair carefully chose her words. "You must be kidding, Mr. Vaughn. I'd love to catch up with you as we're not strangers."
Alexander kept teasing her. "How do you plan to catch up? What kind of catch-up? If it were me, I'd be more interested in building something romantic."
