Blair directed her gaze away from the television and toward the elevator doors that were sealed shut. She had waited outside Leclerc & Associates for several days now, but she hadn't even caught a glimpse of Julian the entire time. The doors slid open then, revealing a group of people who stepped out of the elevator in unison. The man leading the group was dressed in a white shirt and black slacks. His hair was slicked back to show off his sculpted features. Blair subconsciously rose to her feet when she saw him. Julian hadn't noticed Blair's presence at all. His eyes were trained ahead of him as he strolled along the corridor with wide steps. Mustering up her courage, Blair called out, "Mr. Leclerc, please wait a moment!" She wasn't even given a chance to approach him when his secretary, Eliza Potter, blocked her path forward.
