When Blair didn't respond, Alexander told Troy to take her outside and wait in the car.
After she left, he slipped one hand into his pocket. His broad shoulders and narrow waist gave him an imposing silhouette as he stood perfectly straight.
He said coldly, "I came alone today. If any of you are looking for trouble, come at me. However, if you cause her to shed one tear again, it won't just be the Pierson Group—I'll come for every last asset you have."
In the back seat, Blair heard the car door open, so she instinctively looked over. Her eyes widened like a startled rabbit.
Alexander teased her, "What, don't you know who I am? It hasn't been that long."
When she saw him leaning closer, her heart started pounding uncontrollably. She was afraid he'd notice something was off, so she scooted toward the window.
He chuckled and leaned back in his seat. He loosened his tie, pulled off his jacket, and tossed it at her.
