The hospital director was already drenched in cold sweat. He hurriedly led Samuel to the security room. As it turned out, Elise had secretly smuggled his mother, Margaret Hayes, out of the hospital. By the time the nurses noticed, she was already long gone. Samuel ordered them to keep looking and immediately called Elise. The call was declined. A second later, a text came through. "Meet me at the Southgate warehouse. Bring ten million dollars." Samuel cursed under his breath and kicked the wall in fury. He called Simon and told him to bring Lucas. Without delay, they rushed straight to the Southgate warehouse. He wouldn't let Elise trick him twice, so he didn't bring any money. Instead, he brought people to surround the warehouse. Elise was inexperienced, and there were many flaws in her kidnapping plan. Samuel spotted Margaret unconscious, tied to a chair by the rear window. Panic surged in his chest. "Shoot," he ordered. His bodyguard immediately fired a tranquilizer dart.
