Breakfast time.
Noah Hyde looked like he’d just swallowed a fly. He’d been back home for two days, and all he’d seen was Delia Fleming and Curtis Stockton glued to each other like they were starring in some low-budget romance drama. Ugh. Just gross.
Thing is, the lovebirds didn’t give a damn that he was sitting right there. To them, he was basically invisible.
“Babe, cucumber.” Delia pointed at the cold cucumber dish.
Curtis immediately understood and picked up a piece, popping it into her mouth without skipping a beat.
“More,” she said. One bite? That was nothing.
“Nope,” Curtis shut her down flat. “You’ve had enough cold stuff today. Wait till tomorrow.”
Delia pouted. “That was, like, five little pieces, tops. Not exactly a feast.”
“You’re pregnant now. No more cold food, remember?” Curtis’s tone was gentle. “Wait till tomorrow, alright?”
