At first, Ethan didn’t think much of it.
But after spending more time with Clara,
he got used to that faint scent she always carried.
It was calming, made it easy to relax around her.
Then, when he was with Fiona again, something just felt... off.
That thought made his eyes darken a bit.
Without making a fuss, he gently slipped his hand away from Fiona’s.
“I’m on a call,” he said plainly.
Fiona pouted.
On the other end, Shane heard it too, but didn’t comment. “Alright, Mr. Blackwood, I’ll let you handle that.”

Compared to Clara, Clara was practically an angel.
