One thing that Stella didn’t know about Roger James was that he was ambitious and nothing could stop him from his quest for power and wealth, not even the thighs of all the ladies in Antipolo. For the first time in their relationship, Stella was sleeping alone. While she stayed up all night brooding over Roger’s sudden change of character, Roger stayed up all night brooding over wooing Susan so that he could be the heir. At dawn Roger had a quick wash and got ready for work. He just drank a black coffee and that was enough. When he heard the sound of shuffling walker, he perceived it was Stella and she was coming to invite him to the dining. The door creaked and Stella’s makeover face peered through the door. “Good morning sweetie. Oh you are ready for work.” she walked in, looking stylish and elegant in her ash mini gown which she intentionally wore to appease the only man in her life. “As you can see,” Roger replied, not interested in locking gaze with her or appreciating her beauty.
