Marcelo never said anything on the matter, but he loathed the days that Renee stayed in the alumni guesthouse.
And so, at one point, he had caved in to his frustrations and bought a house near Bellbank University.
The area was in an upscale neighborhood, and the properties that surrounded the campus were all small flats. Villa communities were situated farther away.
Marcelo had taken Renee’s class schedule in careful consideration when he made the arrangements, and settled for a large and well-furnished bungalow, just a walking distance from the university.
It was less than a hundred square meters in total, with only two bedrooms and a quaint living room.

He closed the door behind him and changed into slippers.
