I didn't want to say anything more to Linda. I had to go confirm this. I didn't believe that Amanda would betray me. I didn't believe what we talked about and what we did were all fake. Those crazy moments and the way she smiled at me seemed so real to me.
I rushed straight into my office. My expression looked so gloomy that my subordinate knocked on the door of my office worriedly. I didn't want anyone to see my sorry state, so I asked him to leave.
