Chapter 13 Bullied in the Crestfall Family
In the rearview mirror, Tyren saw Thalia slumped softly against the seat motionlessly, looking so quiet and obedient that it would make anyone feel protective of her.
He always knew her alcohol tolerance wasn't good, but he hadn't expected it to have become this bad after all these years.
She murmured in her sleep, "Tyren, don't leave…"
The car interior was dark, only the streetlights outside forming a faint halo that fell over her sleeping face.
Tyren's heart softened instantly. He gently brushed her hair and whispered, "I'm not going anywhere this time."
He originally planned to kiss her lips, but he hesitated momentarily before placing a light kiss on the corner of her eye.
The car stopped in front of Royal Grace Hotel 20 minutes later.
A bodyguard rushed up to open the car door and bowed at a perfect 90-degree angle after Tyren got out of the car. "Mr. Backshaw!"
When Tyren carried Thalia out of the car, the bodyguard stepped forward kindly. "Mr. Backshaw, let me take her."
