CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY FIVE – A TEMPORARY PEACE
For the next few hours, they talked. Really talked. Without the pressure of the entire pack watching, Sorin and Alina were able to express their concerns and hopes more freely. Cassie, Florian, and Elena mediated, offering perspectives from both inside and outside the pack.
As dawn broke, a tentative agreement had been reached. Sorin agreed to consider some of Alina's proposals for modernization, while Alina acknowledged the importance of preserving certain traditions.
As they left the cabin, Sorin paused beside Cassie. "You surprise me, human," he said softly. "Perhaps there's more to you than meets the eye."

As Cassie watched them leave, she felt a mix of exhaustion and hope. She turned to Florian, who was looking at her with a mixture of pride and awe.
