Chapter 117 BACKWARD SHOCK

Rhea hadn't seen Cassian in a few days. It was strange for her, he had been here with Lucian whenever they visited. But although Lucian was here almost everyday, Cassian hadn't been. She had been getting so much better so she even expected that he would come.
She hated that it affected her so much. It wasn't as if she felt a physical pain but his presence had been one she was now used to. She had accustomed herself to the guards who roamed the corridors and the healers who stayed behind.
Including Lucian who had been acting like one of the guards, he was walways lurking and looking like something would happen anytime soon. The healers had reduced the amount of drugs and herbs she took.
They were now advicing her to leave the palace into the day for a few minutes. They wanted her to walk certain distances so that the bones in her legs didn't weaken. They also wanted her to speak more because she hadn't done much of that since waking up.
