Chapter 59: DISCRETION
LUCIAN'S POV
The look on the doctor’s face made me realize that I had misspoken, that I had said what I should have, that I had mistakenly said what was on my mind, instead of pretending that I care for Cassian.
“I…I'll speak to the Alpha instead,” he said and then attempted to walk away, to spill a well- kept secret to the one person that it should be kept from. I stopped him in his tracks, with my hand pressed against his neck, I spoke.
“You will do no such thing,” I said through gritted teeth. I pressed harder, he seemed to be struggling to breathe but I did not mind. I am not going to let a little hospital thwart stop me from fulfilling my destiny. I continued to hold on to his neck, this pinned him to the wall.
“Pl…please, don't kill me,” he cried.
