Dane slides closer, planting his feet on either side of mine so our pelvises meet. Our bodies begin to mold together, and his free arm slides around my waist. No inhibitions and no sense of nervousness when lost in him. Flattening my palms on his pecks and sliding them upwards to wrap myself around his neck, savoring every new sensation and how he makes me feel. Dane is as invested in this as I am and gives no hint of backing away now as I wrap myself up in his arms, craving his touch and the sense of security and safety he makes me feel. It’s obvious now he’s in it, he doesn’t want it to stop either and seduces me fully with kissing alone. “KAYLA…WHERE ARE YOU?” My mom’s raised voice snaps me out of euphoria, and Dane and I jump apart guiltily. Ending the kiss abruptly and turning to stare at his closed bedroom door beside us in shocked horror. Bodies are tingling and now creating distance as though we had been sparked by something to separate us. Dane mouths a cuss word under his bre
