Alpha Jaxon's POV I looked down at her surprised by the extent of her reaction but as I couldn't see her face, I couldn't deduce what had made her react like that. It was possible that she was simply horrified by the thought that I would kill the Alpha King just to get the position. Astrid was very naive sometimes. It made me want to protect her from the world all the time. I looked in the general direction that Alpha Finn laid. Why had he started talking about the Alpha King all of a sudden? What was his plan?
